In late April after the official collapse of several European countries, an unknown number of government officials from London were evacuated to an unknown location for their "safety". I work for the Sanitation department as part of a special circumstances crew. I was surprised when I received a phonecall from employers I didn't know existed any longer asking me to drive to Southwold for a special order job that "needed someone of my caliber". They told me they could not compensate me in money because the money was useless, but would give me food and supplies, whatever I needed that they could find. They sounded desperate. I needed the food so I went down to Southwold and met with some kind of liaison. He took me to a large, somewhat dilapidated residential building outside of town surrounded by hidden surveillance. Cameras, sensors, impressive set up. There were people outside in plain clothes but I assume they were police. There may have also been a sniper on the nearby hill. As a government special sanitation employee you go to a lot of high stakes, high clearance areas and see most of the security that is used. I realized this wasn't going to be any normal clean up as I walked into the door and got hit with the smell of blood. It was a hot day and it reeked of death inside that old house. There was blood everywhere, but I didn't see the source downstairs, just bloody boot prints and sometimes handprints or finger marks on the walls and doors. The liaison apologized for the mess and said I wouldn't be handling anything too major. He led me upstairs, where the smell of death was much stronger. There were large pools of blood and drag marks and many boot prints. He said I was going to be helping with "pick up", which meant I would be directing and helping clean the massive amounts of blood and prepping for the movement of several "cadavers" that needed to be removed from the premises. I was taken to the bodies and saw they were the London officials. I believe these were the officials that they evacuated from London a few weeks ago. I think they "evacuated" them for an ulterior motive.
